postal items, either unique or thematic, original pieces.

Definition:------- Maximaphily (n.), The branch of Philately specializing in the
creation and collection of postcards (and covers) upon which the stamp, postmark
and postcard image are related thematically. When produced by Philantics,
"maxed" items are notoriously artistic, hilarious, irreverent, tasteless or obnoxious.
