SODUS (NY) COLLECTION

Sodus, Sodus Point, Lyons and surrounding communities lay south of Lake Ontario in New York State. In the late 1890's and early 1900's, this was a popular area for daytrippers and tourists seeking respite from the hectic cities of Rochester and Syracuse.

This collection is derived from family albums; my great-grandfather and grandfather were born and raised in this region. Several of twenty postcards are shown below.
