Grove City College (Pa.) Collection
B.A., Grove City College. 1959

Grove City College, founded 1876, is a small, Christian (Presbyterian) college in western Pennsylvania. It has a strong regional reputation as an outstanding

undergraduate college. A very conservative administration and student body breeds right-wing idealogy that permeates the curriculum. Grove City

College has the ignoble distinction of holding the longevity record from the American Association of University Professors (AAUP), being first

blacklisted for the indiscriminate firing of a liberal history professor; many resignations of key faculty member followed.
